Thanks for all of the comments

To Everyone:

I have received so much positive feedback and feelings of support to forward to Travis and Haley. Please feel free to comment. They check in on the blog and I am sure they would love to hear from you. Anyone who has been in a health crisis of any kind knows how important the support can be.

Thank you to those who have already commented on the blog. And as always, please remember to pray for Ari. Her survival so far truly is a miracle. I believe that the prayers of the masses are helping.

Thanks,

Elizabeth (Lane) Hibbard
Ari's Aunt

  1. Hi Haley and Travis
So sorry to hear about your darling daughter.
This is Lee Ann Johnson, Im Becky's mother-in-law. Having spent three months in SLC at the U Of U hospital while Curtis had his liver transplant, I sorta know what you might be going through. A sick child is of corse harder for the parents. But I can relate to the uncertainty and fear of all that happens.
Its so hard to spend day after day in the hospital. But I have a strong testimony of the power of faith and prayer.I would not have survived the trial without it. Curtis asked frequently for preisthood blessings, he rejected the liver twice, and without the blessings he might not be here today. We are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives and to know and believe in the power of the preisthood. We are praying for you and her daily, and hope for the best.
There is a website called carepages.com that you can subscribe to that lets you keep a diary of sorts and to let people log onto and read your updates. It helped us to inform family and friends of his condition and stay in touch, much like a blog.
Please know we are thinking of you and your family and will help in any way possible.
Take Care Luv, Lee Ann and Curtis Johnson.
